During an international gathering, Supreme Master Ching Hai encourages Association members to simplify life and use fewer resources, saying, "The less you use, the less karma." The Supreme Master also shares tips on eco-friendly living, such as choosing a smaller house, saving water for re-use, collecting rain, adding solar power, etc. These are very beneficial to our health, the planet and our spiritual practice as well.

In addition, the Supreme Master reminds the fellow initiates that if we feel something is wrong, "... we should check ourselves, instead of the others." We should also remember that we are not this physical body and that the inner Master is the real source of blessing, always.
