Highlights

In the winter of 2001, the Supreme Master Ching Hai celebrated the Christmas holidays at the Florida Center with fellow initiates from all over the world. Master brought Her beautiful birds with Her to meet the initiates, showing us that animals are very loving and royal friends and that we can even communicate with them from within. Master also told us many jokes to brighten our days and inspire us effortlessly with the wisdom within the jokes.

Despite the long distance, initiates from Formosa (Taiwan) managed to come to see Master by every means of transport, and this touched Master’s heart deeply. A brother who had received initiation more than 18 years ago shared his experiences with us by telling a story of how Lao Tzu asked him to “jump into the ocean.” Only after he knew the name of Supreme Master “Ching Hai” (Pure Ocean in Chinese), did he realize that it’s the real ocean that he should bathe in. Master praised his courage. Even though he had practiced other methods for decades and obtained great magical powers, yet in search of Truth, he was determined to put aside everything and started a whole new journey. Truly, he is deserved to be a shining example for us.
