Christmas
was approaching and people were preparing to celebrate the
birth of most compassionate one, Jesus Christ. By chance
a beautiful wooly sheep, a buffalo, a goose, a loving pig,
a chicken and a dog happened to overhear their so called
caretakers, talking about killing them to eat on Christmas
Eve. Can you imagine how they felt?
These animals, heartbroken
and scared, run away to save their lives. Along the way they bumped
into each other and shared their sad stories and in turn helped each
other and became friends.
This story represents
many animals in the world. They understand our every word, and know who
is who, but we don’t know who they are. They are very noble
beings with high IQ, harmless and defenseless in human hands.
It is the most terrible
sin to kill animals, our brothers and sisters in different shapes and sizes. Let’s
pray that soon more and more humans wake up and extend loving kindness
to our lovely animal neighbors, just like we ourselves would like to receive.
